Resoling

Basic Services:

Half Resole: $55 / pair
Half Resole + Rand Repair: $75 / pair

Note that some sole compound/thickness options carry a $10 surcharge.

No-Edge Shoe Resole: $75 / pair
No-Edge Shoe Resole + Rand Repair: $90 / pair

As an authorized La Sportiva Resoler, we offer authentic No-Edge soles.

Approach Shoe Resole: $85 / pair
Approach Shoe Resole + Rand Repair: $105 / pair

Special Services (prices additional to basic services)

Full Split Sole Replacement: +$10 / pair

Replace the entire sole on shoes designed with a split sole (ie. Solution, Instinct, Vapor V) rather than our conventional half resole.

Full Rand Replacement: +$12/ pair

Required when rand damage isn’t localized at the tip of the shoe, and can’t be fixed with a standard toe-cap rand repair.

Targeted Thickness Rand Repair: +$10 / pair

Replace the rand with one that is thicker & more durable where you need it most.

Shoe Stretching or Shrinking: +$5 / pair

Requires a rand repair. Shrinking will require a Full Rand Replacement.
This is not an exact science. We aim for 0.5 size but the results may be slightly more or less than that.

Misc. Repair

Stitching Repair:

  • Small: +$3.50 / shoe
    Small (<1 cm) holes at the toes, tears, peeling Velcro, Miura lacing system, small pull tabs, etc.

  • Medium: +$5.50 / shoe
    Medium (>1 cm) holes at the toes, tears, peeling Velcro stitching, larger pull tabs, etc.

  • Large: +$10.00 / shoe
    Large (>3 cm) split seam at toes, or holes with missing material, upper stitching, etc.

Strap Replacement: $12.50 / strap

  • Replacement of frayed or broken straps on Solutions, Futuras, etc.

  • Repair of worn or cut straps on shoes with Velcro closures.

D-Ring Repair/Replacement: $10.00 / D-ring

  • Repair of worn D-Rings on the straps of shoes with Velcro closures.

Performance Tuning

Sole Cups: no charge

  • Adding a cupped/concave shape to previously flat lasted climbing shoes.

Midsole: $10 / pair

  • Adding a midsole to stiffen up your climbing shoes, or replacing a degraded factory midsole.

Scum Patches: $20 / pair

  • Adding or replacing the scum patches (toe hooking rubber). Choose between durable or sticky rubber.

Crack Climbing Rand: $12 / pair (additional to standard rand repair fee)

  • Replace the full rand with a higher (generally on the outside edge of the shoe) rand designed for climbing cracks.

Heel Scuff: $3.50 / pair

  • We’ll remove the hardened, low-friction layer of oxidized rubber from the heels, making them sticky again.

  • 5-9 Pairs: $20 total

Dropbox Service Fee: $3.50 / pair
(applies to any shoes dropped/returned using a gym dropbox)
